CONNECTOR DOCUMENTATION
Doocmin for Claude
Last updated October 13, 2026.
Doocmin is a document template and PDF generation service. The Doocmin connector lets Claude work with your Doocmin library: create and edit templates, keep and publish versions, fill variables, preview the real PDF pages and generate PDFs, always with your account's permissions.
Connect
Claude on the web, desktop and mobile
- Open Settings → Connectors (or Customize → Connectors) and choose Browse connectors. Search for Doocmin and select Connect. If Doocmin is not listed yet, choose Add custom connector and paste
https://www.doocmin.com/api/mcp. - Sign in to Doocmin with Google or your email and password, review the requested permissions and select Authorize.
- Start a new conversation and ask Claude to use Doocmin.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http doocmin https://www.doocmin.com/api/mcpThen run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose doocmin → Authenticate.
Permissions
- Read (always requested): list and read your documents, revisions, versions, publications and generation history.
- Write: create, edit, rename, duplicate, trash and restore documents; configure fields, page layout, headers and footers; publish revisions; share documents.
- Generate: preview pages and generate PDFs.
- Account management (only when needed): manage API keys, connections, sessions and login methods. Claude asks you to approve this separately the first time you use an account tool.
Claude never gets more access than your Doocmin account. Read-only tools are marked as such; tools that delete, replace, revoke, share, publish or create credentials are marked as destructive so Claude asks for confirmation. Deleted documents go to the trash and edits keep recoverable revisions.
Example prompts
- “Create a Doocmin template for a one-page service proposal with variables for client name, date, scope and total price.”
- “List my Doocmin documents edited this week and summarize the latest changes to the sales contract.”
- “Generate a PDF of the invoice template for Acme Corp, 3 hours of consulting at $120, dated today, and show me page 1 first.”
- “Compare the last two revisions of my NDA template and show what changed on the first page.”
- “Publish the current revision of the onboarding letter as version 2.0 and share it with ana@example.com as a viewer.”
What Claude can do
- Documents: search your library and shared documents, create documents from plain text or rich templates, edit safely against the latest revision, rename, duplicate, trash and restore.
- Templates: discover variables, repeated table rows and image fields; configure field labels, sample values, page layout and the header and footer repeated on every page; validate values before generating.
- History: list revisions, name versions, restore earlier revisions, publish a fixed revision and compare revisions visually.
- PDFs: preview real pages as images, generate PDFs from an exact revision and review your generation history.
- Sharing: list members, invite existing Doocmin users as viewers or editors, change roles and remove access.
- Legacy documents: work with templates imported from the previous version of Doocmin.
Troubleshooting
- Claude asks you to reconnect: your authorization was revoked or expired. Reconnect from the connector settings.
- “This connection was not granted the permission this tool needs”: approve the additional permission when Claude asks, or disconnect and connect again.
- A PDF link asks you to sign in: generated PDF links are private. Open them in a browser where you are signed in to Doocmin.
- “The document changed since you read it”: someone else edited it. Ask Claude to read the latest revision and apply the change again.
- Sharing fails with an unknown email: the person needs a Doocmin account first.
Disconnect
Remove the connector in Claude's connector settings. To revoke Claude's access from Doocmin, open My account → Agents and integrations (Mi cuenta → Agentes e integraciones) and disconnect it.
